Partner closely with development and design teams to develop a gamification web application that enables the operation team to rapidly new functionality.
Build, test, deploy and maintain low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications without close supervision.
Own features from initial discussions through release, and develop new skills to get them done.
Balance long-term code health and maintainability with business needs.
Participate in feature estimation and scoping.
Manage time appropriately and clearly communicate changes in effort or scope.
Design and build RESTful API services.
Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems
Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows and facilitate upgrading existing workflows

The key technologies:
Front-End: Javascript with React, HTML, SCSS & Webpack.
Back-End: Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Redis, MariaDB
Python frameworks like Django, Flask, etc.
Experience using ORM such as SQLAlchemy
2+ years working using core Python fundamentals and programming
Knowledge of scaling practices such as in-memory databases, load balancing, caching, etc.
Comfortable with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Must have designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services, and know-how to compose a service-oriented architecture
Comfortable RESTful and real-time communication protocols.
Familiar with cloud providers such as AWS to get the most out of infrastructure.
Experience in front-end development using Javascript is a plus.
Good command of Linux environment
Good communication in English.
