Data Architect - No Probation

• Responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable solutions for collecting and analyzing large data sets in the cloud.
• Also in creating and maintaining data pipelines, data marts and business intelligence dashboards to be used across Automotive Industry.
• Construct a multi-tenant data, analytics and reporting solution in AWS using Snowflake and MicroStrategy products that leverages and extends an Automotive Data Platform patterns and capabilities.
• The program includes:
• Data Lake
• Data Warehouse
• Reporting
• Data share, workflow and operations
• Data Architect (data models/schemas)
• Provide data architecture direction.
• Develop and manage streaming data pipelines at enterprise scale.
• Design, modify and maintain system level conceptual, logical, and physical transactional data models based on requirements.
• Build expertise on the data. Own data quality for various data flows.
• Provide technical support for query optimization.
• Produce data analysis on databases, champion enterprise data policies and procedures.
• Provide technical knowledge on data architecture related trends, issues, and tools.
• Create and maintain strong business relationships to influence best data practices.
• Mentor to team members.

• Strong engineering background, preferred in fields in Computer Science or a related technical field. MS or PhD degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experiences in MicroStrategy, Sisense, Saleforce and Tableau analytics platform and/or Informatica Intelligent data platform.
• Experiences in AWS Services including DMS, EMR, PySpark, Snowflake and AirFlow
• Experiences in using Lambda, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora for data pipelines
• Big data / machine learning / data science experiences
• Experiences in data engineering using utilizing Python/PySpark and SparkSQL
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding problem solver.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
