Technical Specialist

• Technical solutions design preparation (hardware, software, networking)
• Project documentation preparation (guides, configuration documents, etc.)
• Participate in testing and certification of software for new platforms
• Full installation "from scratch" of the solution
• Post-installation solution support
• Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning for in-house software solution (HW \ OS \ SW; i.e. UNIX, Oracle RDBMS, Java App servers, and others.)

Requirements:
• Knowledge of current hardware technologies of vendors IBM, Oracle, HP (server equipment)
• Knowledge of current hardware technologies of vendors IBM, Oracle, HP, EMC, Hitachi, NetApp (storage\SAN equipment)
• Good knowledge of OS, JVM, RDBMS, SAN, Clustering architectures
• Good knowledge of UNIX hardware/software platforms (Solaris/SPARC; AIX/Power; RHEL-like/intel x86_64; HP-UX/Itanium)
• Hands on experience with virtualization platforms (VmWare vSphere, Oracle VM (x86, SPARC), PowerVM(LPAR), HPE vPar )
• Hands on experience with Oracle DB (installation, update, backup / recovery, performance tuning);
• Strong understanding of local and global networks design concepts (TCP/IP stack, routing protocols). Knowledge of equipment features like Cisco, Brocade
• Shell scripting skills (bash, awk, sed, regular expressions, perl\python)
• Experience of performance tuning of high-loaded 24/7/365 systems.
• Certificates for the above technologies and hardware will be an advantage (Big plus)
